Creekside Park Receives Funding Commitment

- Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) has committed $300,000 to Marion County Housing Authority for the acquisition of Creekside Park in Aumsville, Oregon. The State Housing Council approved the risk sharing loan at their April 27, 2001 meeting in Salem.

Department Raises Income Limits For Home Loan Program

- Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) announced today that it has increased the annual income limits for its Residential Loan Program which is a below-market interest rate loan program serving low and moderate income Oregonians. "We are excited about the increased income limits because we now have the opportunity to help more Oregon families purchase a home," said Bob Repine, OHCS Director.

Salem, Oregon (July 26, 2001) - Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
