The report pulls together data from the US Census, Oregon Department of Revenue, Oregon Department of Human Services, Oregon Employment Department and a variety of federal and independent studies to paint a picture of poverty in Oregon.

Salem, Oregon (December 3, 2004) – Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) announces the funding of 16 affordable housing developments through the Fall 2004 Consolidated Funding Cycle (CFC). Together, these projects will provide 562 units of affordable housing for Oregonians and add nearly $108 million in economic value to the state’s economy. These units are targeted for low-income individuals, families, elderly, developmentally disabled, ex-offenders, survivors of domestic violence, homeless and farmworkers.
