Salem, Oregon (January 25, 2005) - Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) announced today it increased its purchase price limits for its Residential Loan Program in 30 of Oregon’s 36 counties. The state-sponsored home loan program, also known as the "Oregon Bond Loan Program," offers qualified homebuyers below-market interest rates on thirty-year fixed rate loans. "These increases allow more properties to qualify for our agency’s home loan program and closing cost assistance." said Bob Repine, OHCS Director. "With home prices and the cash a borrower needs to close a home loan continuing to rise, our program plays a key role in helping Oregonians buy a home of their own."
